The 1227.6 MHz L2P(Y) signal of GPS has long been used in precision military applications. Civilian users can also use it in a "no code" fashion, where the receiver first finds the L1 signal and then uses some information from the L2 signal to improve accuracy. Like L1, the GPS modernization program is adding two L2 signals: L2C, which is less accurate but a stronger, slower signal designed for use in more challenging environments. Receivers can access L2C without first receiving L1. Another new signal, L2M, is only available to authorized users.
In the face of GPS L2 band positioning, you need a professional GPS jammer to deal with it. Our gps blocker can interfere with GPS locators.
