Why can full-band jammers interfere with Apple phones, but have limited effect on Huawei phones?

In actual use, sometimes full-band jammers can effectively interfere with Apple phone signals, but the interference effect on Huawei phones is not obvious. This is mainly due to the following differences:

1. Differences in frequency band support

Apple phones are designed for the global market and support many frequency bands, but different versions (such as the Chinese version and the US version) have castrated some frequency bands. For example, some 5G frequency bands such as N71 and N53 of the Chinese version are weakened or cancelled.

Huawei mobile phone frequency band support is extremely comprehensive, such as Mate 30 Pro 5G supports multiple mainstream 5G frequency bands such as N79, N78, N77, N41, N28, N3, N1, etc.

Although full-band jammers claim to cover all frequency bands, the actual interference intensity for some frequency bands may be insufficient. If the frequency bands commonly used by Huawei phones happen to be the frequency bands with weaker interference from the jammer, and the frequency bands of Apple phones happen to be severely affected, there will be differences.

For example, China Mobile uses N41+N28+N79 carrier aggregation in key areas. If the jammer does not interfere with the N79 frequency band enough, the signal of Huawei mobile phones supporting this frequency band will remain stable, while Apple mobile phones may be greatly affected.

2. Signal processing and anti-interference technology

Huawei has a deep accumulation of communication technology and has invested a lot of research and development in signal processing and anti-interference algorithms. Its mobile phones have more advanced algorithm capabilities and can:

Accurately identify and enhance effective signals;

Effectively filter out interference signals and improve communication stability.

Although Apple mobile phones also have strong signal processing capabilities, their anti-interference strategies and algorithm focuses are different from Huawei's, and they may not perform as well as Huawei in some complex interference environments.

Therefore, when the characteristics of the interference signal just "hit" the weak points of Apple mobile phone signal processing, the interference effect is obvious, while Huawei mobile phones can cope with it better.

3. Antenna design differences

Huawei mobile phones pay special attention to antenna design. For example, the Mate 30 Pro is equipped with up to 21 antennas, 14 of which are 5G antennas. Through reasonable layout, signal reception and stability are optimized to enhance anti-interference capabilities.

Apple's mobile phone antenna design also has its own characteristics, but in specific frequency bands and interference environments, the antenna's signal collection and anti-interference capabilities may not be as good as Huawei's, thus affecting the interference effect.

The full-band 5G jammer has different interference effects on Apple and Huawei phones, mainly due to the differences in frequency band support, signal processing technology and antenna design. Huawei phones are more resilient in the face of interference with more comprehensive frequency band coverage, more advanced anti-interference algorithms and superior antenna design.
