Can wireless jammers only interfere with voice without interfering with data?
When customers ask us about the needs of wireless signal jammers, they sometimes ask us to interfere with voice calls only and not with communication data. To put it bluntly, they only hope that the mobile phone cannot answer or make calls during the use of the jammer, but the mobile phone can still access the network normally, use chat software to contact the outside world, and play online games normally. So, can our wireless jammers only interfere with voice without interfering with data?
If we go back to 10 years ago, when it was still in the 2G and 3G era, it was relatively easy for wireless jammers at that stage to only interfere with voice without interfering with data. Because the division of labor at that time was like this: 2G communication mainly handles voice call services, and the 3G standard can serve both voice calls and data transmission. When only the voice call function needs to be retained, the 3G frequency band in the wireless jammer only needs to be kept turned on. Of course, although a very low-speed data communication is still retained in the 2G frequency band, such a low communication rate cannot meet the data traffic requirements on the mobile application side.
Then, after we experienced 4G and entered the 5G communication era, the division of mobile phone communication frequency bands has been greatly adjusted and changed compared to 10 years ago. The original 2G frequency band has already started the frequency withdrawal and network withdrawal project, and many places have already dismantled the original 2G network mobile phone base stations. A large part of the original 3G frequency band has been replaced with the 4G frequency band for use. Moreover, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile phone models all support voice and data at the same time, which brings a consequence: we can no longer distinguish voice and data from the working frequency of the mobile phone. Similarly, in the setting and selection of the interference frequency of the wireless jammer, we can also not make an effective distinction.
So the final conclusion is already very clear. The wireless jammers we commonly see now can no longer only interfere with voice calls without interfering with data transmission.
