A brief introduction to the current 5G frequency bands for mobile phones
The 5G network has a total of 29 frequency bands, which are mainly divided into two spectrum ranges, of which there are 26 frequency bands below 6GHz (collectively referred to as Sub6GHz) and 3 millimeter wave frequency bands. At present, Sub6GHz is mainly used in China, including 7 frequency bands of n1/n3/n28/n41/n77/n78/n79. The details are as follows:
1. According to the current division of 3GPP, 5G NR mainly includes two spectrum ranges. The 450MHz-6000MHz frequency range is FR1, which is often referred to as Sub-6GHz, and the 24250MHz-52600MHz frequency range is FR2, which is often referred to as millimeter wave;
2. FR1 includes 26 frequency bands from n1/n2/n3, FR2 includes three frequency bands of n257, n258, and mn260. At present, there are 7 frequency bands mainly used at home and abroad: n1/n3/n28/n41/n77/n78/n79 .
3. The frequency bands of the domestic 5G network are mainly. China Telecom and China Unicom use the n78 frequency band, while China Mobile uses the n41 and n79 frequency bands. Therefore, the 5G mobile phones released in the domestic market can support these frequency bands.
4. At present, Shenzhen Junyi Electronics Co., Ltd. has developed and produced a series of mobile phone signal jammer for 5G signals, which have been sold well in the market and have received very good feedback.
