How to know when employees use GPS jammers?

The good news is that if you have one or more employees trying to use a GPS jammer to interfere with your fleet tracking system, you will know. Although your drivers may think that illegal jammers make them invisible, they are drawing more attention to their behavior.

If an employee uses a GPS jammer to interrupt the GPS signal, it will be displayed as an interrupted or lost trip on the real-time tracking map or trip history map. In addition, if they insert the jammer only part of the trip, you will see a line from when the jamming starts to when the device turns off. Some newer GPS trackers even have GPS interference detection capabilities. In addition, you can create an exception rule to check for GPS signal failure and trigger an alarm or email when GPS interference occurs.

Once you find that employees are interfering with GPS tracking, you can fight them. You also have GPS interference records that can be used for disciplinary actions, such as firing offending employees for any reason.
