Drone countermeasure equipment is used to counter illegal intrusion drones, and usually has the function of driving away or forcing various drones to land. Since the transmission power of the countermeasure signal module varies, the type of antenna used when transmitting the countermeasure signal is also different, and its range of action usually reaches 500 meters or even several kilometers. When the area where drone defense is needed happens to be in a downtown area or a densely populated area, and there are many ordinary people gathered around, it is not recommended to turn on the drone countermeasure equipment for a long time. The main reason is that several necessary signal interference frequency bands used in drone signal blocker will completely overlap with the communication frequency bands required for ordinary people's lives, such as: GPS civilian navigation positioning frequency band, wireless network WIFI2.4G frequency band and 5.8G frequency band. Once the drone countermeasure equipment is turned on, it will inevitably interfere with these three basic frequency bands effectively. The result is that in the interfered area, the unauthorized drones will certainly be interfered with, but at the same time, the navigation of ordinary people in this area, such as mobile phone navigation and car navigation, may also fail. At the same time, it will be found that the WIFI wireless network and Bluetooth devices in the office or residence will have poor communication.

In addition to the three basic frequency bands mentioned above, some specially customized drone countermeasures also have communication frequency bands that may be used by other drones, such as 800MHz, 900MHz, 433MHz and other frequency bands. There is a part of the 800MHz and 900MHz frequency bands that overlap with the uplink frequency bands of mobile phone base stations, which will affect the normal operation of the base station. The 433MHz frequency band corresponds to many types of remote controllers, walkie-talkies, etc.

Through the above analysis, it can be seen that it is not recommended to use drone countermeasures for a long time in the main area of the town. Only when the protected unit is relatively isolated and its attack environment is very open and spacious can it be suitable for continuous use.
